Maximize your plant search by using the following tips.
 
Boolean Operators Examples to try in Search Box Meaning

AND

These operators will return only the results whose
records contain the words red AND shrub.
It is not necessary to use the AND operator. If you do not separate your search terms with any operator, AND is implied by default.


OR

or

red OR shrub

red or shrub
These operators will return results that contain either
red OR shrub and also records that contain red AND shrub.

" " (double quotation)


"small tree" Using double quotes will return results that contain the exact phrase stated.

Singular / Plural Search

ferns
For most keywords, the results are equivalent regardless of whether the plural form is indicated or not.

This logic applies only to searches using single keywords.

Kindly take note of the following:-
All searches are case-insensitive.
• Do not
use other operators or punctuation marks in your query other than those stated above.
• Do not use combination search logic, as this is currently not supported. Eg: red AND shrub OR tree
